WHAT IS PLAY THERAPY?
Play Therapy is a mode of therapy that helps children and young people to:
- explore their feelings
- to express themselves
- to make sense of their life experiences.
I'm Rachael, a BAPT registered Play Therapist with a background in primary special needs teaching.
I support children and young people with their mental health and emotional wellbeing through individual Play Therapy sessions and though support and training for families and professionals.

Play Therapy is an effective intervention for children and young people affected by a variety of issues including loss (through bereavement, family breakdown or separation from culture of origin), physical, sexual or emotional abuse, neglect, trauma, being fostered or adopted, changes within the family, illness or disability, emotional or behavioural challenges.
We use play therapy to support children with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
